Through a combined analysis of statistical and media data, coupled with extensive street-level research and culinary prowess, the Corporate Associate Consulting Chef will support consultative marketing initiatives for the U.S. National Culinary Research and Development Department and work under the guidance of Corporate Consulting Chef Gerry Ludwig, CEC, a nationally recognized food writer, speaker, and trend-tracker.

 

The Corporate Associate Consulting Chef will have the opportunity to…

 

Research and Trend Analysis

  • Provide leadership and perspective to influence and facilitate the development of new culinary strategies and resources through empirical research
  • Tour the country to find innovative, cutting-edge food trends by
    • Planning and leading Annual Chicago Customer Trends Tours
    • Identifying venues for customized, key customer Trends Tours in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago
  • Partner with Corporate Test Kitchen Chef to master all aspects of the Kitchen Tested Recipe (KTR) creation process and participates in KTR creation periodically throughout year

 

Content Development and Presentation

  • Partner with Corporate Consulting Chef in creation and presentation of Food Show Seminars
  • Provide content to support “ghost authorship” of articles for company publications
  • Create content and manage logistics to support Divisional Culinary Specialists in the execution of Food Show Trends Theaters
  • Conduct training presentations at Divisional Sales and Marketing meetings to enhance understanding of culinary consulting resources at the Divisional level
  • Develop content and contributes to the production of Annual Trends Report (ATR) resources and manages  “Review and Refresh” maintenance of KTR and ATR resources

 

Our next Associate Consulting Chef will have...

  • A combined ten years of industry experience:
    • Six years previous Executive Chef level experience
    • An accompanying minimum of four years Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine training/experience
    • Comprehensive knowledge of all cooking techniques with strong plate presentation and kitchen organizational skills
  • Proficient speaking and presentation skills - You will be sharing your expertise with audiences ranging in size from 5 to 500!
  • The ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
  • The following certifications/degrees:
    • Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts (strongly preferred)
    • ACF Certified Executive Chef (CEC) (strongly preferred)
    • Serve Safe Certification (strongly preferred)
