Position Summary:

Ensures governmental compliance with the support of the Compliance Manager including federal contractor compliance.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates with the HR divisions to ensure essential human resources practices, policies and employment processes are effectively implemented.
  • Trains and provides guidance and communication to the Divisions regarding compliance with SSN verifications, I-9s, Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC), background checks, employment eligibility (via E-Verify), unemployment, drug screening, and other practices, policies and compliance related topics.
  • Administers HR vendor programs;  assists with integrations, implementations and ongoing evaluation of HR vendor programs.
  • Monitors business unit adherence to regulatory, and organizational compliance. Provides  communication, and guidance to divisions to increase awareness and compliance.
  • Administers GFS employee mobility programs including relocation
  • Maintains electronic GFS Human Resources related sites.
  • Reviews policies annually to ensure compliance and accuracy in e-handbook, updates as needed.
  • Provides audit support as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Human Resources or Related field is required
  • Three or more years experience in Human Resources, Compliance, Audit or other related area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.  
  • Strong customer service skills.  
  • Data analysis experience required.  
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and employment practices preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Related field is preferred
  • SHRM certification is preferred
